The Commercial Engines Aftermarket Operations team is looking for an Operations Manager of the GTF line operating in West Palm Beach. You will lead a team of cell leaders who handle a bargaining unit workforce that is responsible for the induction, teardown, rebuild, and final certification of all GTF engines overhauled here. In addition, the Operations manager will be directly responsible for meeting all EH&S, Customer, Quality, and Financial goals within the West Palm Beach GTF Maintenance Repair & Overhaul facility. The individual will lead by devising and executing: operational strategies, training plans, production resource scheduling, and continuous improvement, while providing clear and crisp communication with EC leadership, peers, and subordinates. Competencies that are critical for success in this role are Customer Focus, Flexibility, Critical Thinking, and Communication. The individual must adopt the ACE Operating System and thrive in a highly visible, dynamic setting.

Responsibilities include:

o Providing leadership and direction to the operations team setting both near and long term operational objectives.

o Collaborate with support teams to establish work schedules taking into account customer requirements, resource availability, and other top priorities and effectively communicate multi-functional requirements to ensure smooth process flow

o Work proactively to address issues and engage the workforce in achieving engine delivery / return goals, while holding employees accountable while maintaining a quality working relationship

o Ensuring that World-Class safety culture is maintained and respond to all EH&S requirements promptly.

o Ensuring full involvement in ACE continuous improvement initiatives - utilizing ACE tools to improve production, performance, and reduce overall operating cost.


**Qualification:** oExperience/Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum 5-7years' experience in Operations, preferably within the Aerospace industry. You should also have direct demonstrated experience in the following:

oWork with all levels of management and communicate effectively and concisely with peers, customers and clients.

oAbility to drive obligations to closure with precision to benefit the organization and every constituent.

oDemonstrated leadership skills with direct supervisory experience, particularly within a bargaining unit setting.

oSuccess working in a high energy and dynamic team-based manufacturing environment with the ability to adapt to changing business conditions.

oAbility to plan projects and to use written/verbal/analytical/organizational skills to influence business objectives.

oYou should be highly self-directed and able to learn quickly with a strong ability to drive and deliver results


Preferred Qualifications:

Graduate degree preferred.

Leadership, communication, interpersonal, problem solving, analytical, prioritization and multi-tasking skills strongly preferred.

Working knowledge of continuous improvement principles (e.g. lean manufacturing, ACE, QCPC)

Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering required.
